Smuggler 0
Single wire is for the battery warning light, and i'm not too sure on what the extra plug is for, I replaced one with the same plug but has not given me any problems by not connecting it, mine did come from a sharan or galaxy though so that maybe why, not sure though. kawark 0
Hi,I think the one you want is 021 903 025 g Bosch 120 amp. The single wire mentioned above plugs into D + on the alternator then you have a thick wire that goes to the starter.Without the thin wire on the D + Terminal the charging circuit does not seem to work.E.G. UNPLUG TEST BATTERY POWER WITH A MULTIMETER AND SHOULD BE 12.6 VOLTS FULLY CHARGED. START ENGINE AND VOLTS WILL GO DOWN TO ABOUT 11 VOLTS AND ALL DASH LIGHTS LIKE ABS AND AIRBAGS WILL COME ON AS PURE BATTERY POWER ONLY.PLUG IN THE THIN WIRE TO D+ AND READING SHOULD THEN GO TO 13.8 -14.8 VOLTS SHOWING THE ALTERNAOTR IS WORKING AND CHARGING.CheersMark
