Matt W 4
The engine needs to be lifted to get access to the water pump as the chassis leg is in the way!
Timah89 1
Quite straight forward but requires technique!1. Undo front engine mount and jack engine under front of sump as high as it will go2. Remove Airbox3. Relieve tension on Aux Belt with allen bolt4. Remove allen bolts from water pump - use 3/8 or 1/4 socket set5. Remove water pump - usually corroded to block so use a 1" wood chisel to separate6. Reassemble preferably with new Aux Belt & Auto Tensioner - total cost from GSF c£100Good luck!

rodney 17
if your exhaust has a flex joint then all is ok. if not then it will helpOnce you are under/in that area you will see you do actually need to raise the lump further than you might have expected. As always as this area is close to the road it attracts all the salt and crap so it always a pig to release. Releasing oil and a twatting device with a selection of extensions are always helpful.it is an easy job to actually do as the guys said a few bolts and a jack... so it should be no issues. As the guys suggest. Always worth replacing the belts as your thereenjoy
