tjsmudger 2
Hi, i recently purchased a golf vr6 and when i took the car in for a service (as it was running like a right dog) I had new ht leads and sparks and breather pipe and coilpack installed. my pal who conducted the service informed me that the catylist had been removed, not wanting to sound like a numpty in front of my pal, i never questioned it but i wanted to know how many bhp the car actually achieves with this taken off. (i know about the implications with going through its mot ,my friend has assured me he will pass it next year)

DONU' 0
When I purchased my VR6 I so that my catylist had been removed too. The catalyst it can't help you very much to win some BHP, but if you buy an complete mainfold exhaust you 'll fill a good difference.
