Purpline 0
What are the widest wheels that I can fit on my 97 Highline without too much arch work. 9 X 16 on the rear is fine I think but what abou the front? The caliper sticks out so I would need a 10mm spacer. Could I fit 8 X 16's on the front without doing anything? I would consider rolling the arches - might even do it myself as I've already bent back some of the portruding lip.
binliner 0
depends on the offset and how low your car is but I would think you'll need to roll the arches... speak to styledynamix ( wwww.styledynamix.co.uk ) they'll be able to sort you out
Purpline 0
Will do mate. Thanks for the advice. Cracking car by the way.
six appeal 53
I have 8 x 17's ET35 on mine and its been lowered on Koni adjustables, I'm running 215/40/17 and have no rubbing on the front or rear, even when 4 up! Best bet is to give Style Dynamix or Montys Wheel and Tyres a call as they have fitted 100's of wheels to Mk3's successfully.
Purpline 0
Cheers mate. Another fine car (same colour as mine!) I thought an 8 X 16 on the front would be fine but what spacers do you have on the front?
six appeal 53
Mine have the Porsche adaptors on them which give it an ET 35 which is the correct offset for a Mk3 VR6.
