Vr6 nitrous gone wrong

Whoops... I mean, ooooh dear... the 1 thing you don't do with nos.. but something doesnt quite add up.. I mean, unless one of the solenoids failed could that really happen? :o

thats sounds about rite, nitrous itself isnt flamable, it merely super cools the induction temp, making combustion more volatile.

usually nos is switched by a switch of sourts, movie style with buttons, but a safer way is to use a throttle switch, allowing only nos & fuel to be added once a wide open throttle is present. therefore preventing such a mishap!

I suppose if the fogger (solenoid) fails, the inlet manifld could easily be flooded with too much fuel and a small amount of gas, could cause this. but the fuel solenoid is T'd into the fuel pump line, Does the fuel pump run with the ign. on???
