hamishsmum 0
my wee car has just failed it's mot been told both the nearside and offside mac struts have excessive movement at the upper attachment.here comes the silly girlie question...do you have to replace the whole thing or is it just a bit of it that needs replaced?do you have to buy special tools to do the job?any idea how much it would cost to get it done in a garage, bit pushed for time to get it done at home. xyber 1
yep, tracking will need sorting afterIf you have access to an impact/air wrench do it as the nut at the top of the strut can be a bitch and you can easily ruin the strut, impact wrench has it off in literally 2 seconds
