euro vr with vento front end

Recommended Posts

Decided to change to a vento front end, looks more aggressive imo , Bit more individual aswell , i also plastic welded over the fogs and indicators in front bumper , quick skim of filler and its good to go. Im really happy with the end result , Job is top notch, you would never know , save me $$$$ to

cut out the fog light recess , bought a cheap rear gti bumper ,cut out two sections to fit into where the foglights were , plastic weld them into position making sure the bumper groove lines up perfectly, fully plastic weld all the way around , sand down welds , skim with filler , high build primer it , paint .

probably 2 hours each side cutting out foglights and plastic welding new bits in , about 5 hours of filler work , i didnt use hardly any but if you look at the little groove in the front bumper , the groove between the number plate and the fog light is bigger than the groove thatcontinues round towards the front wheel, i hope you understand what im getting at , So basically its just a case of building the larger groove up to match the smaller one .
