running lumpy

Any ideas , my mk3 is lumpy on tick over and sounds like exhaust is blowing after 2k revs.

Cant find any leaks dont think the heads gone as its water & oil are fine, motors only done 80k cheers.

Part of my misfire was made better by the mechanic lubricating the electrical connections on the leads, but Its not something I have ever done on any of my other cars.

Mine idles slightly lumpy and blows occasionally. Had a look round the bay yesterday and it seems i have oil leaking out round the rubber gasket....

Is this going to be an expensive job to replace the gasket? Anything else i could do without taking the engine out, that isnt too expensive, while the heads off?

Thanks for reply the fault was a dodgy spark plug cheers
