Phat VR6 3 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Share Posted June 23, 2008 hello. first disconect the battery and leave for half hour so the airbag dont take your head off lol.Put your wheel strate ahead, Unscrew the 2 allen key bolts on the back of the wheel (7mm i think). Then remove your airbag (theres a little plug you need to unclip)Then theres a big 24mm nut in the middle. Undo that. Wiggle the wheel and it comes off, Job done Link to post Share on other sites
TomVR6 0 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 I'm guna be changing the wheel on my VR soon, I understand from reading around that if I'm guna do the job properly I need a resistor to sort the airbag light out.Its been said that I can get them from awesome-gti but the posts are a good few years old now so does anyone know if they still sell them or if there is anywhere else I can get one from?I can't seem to find anything by searching t'internet.
