HID KITS

Hi. im looking for a 8000k HID KIT. Is it the H1 kit that fit golf vr6 (1997)? also would i need a separate kit for the fog lights? any recommended places to purchase them from?

I found £99 for the above kit at Essex racing. Don't fit them to standard or cheap lights though or they'll tarnish like a barsteward.

8k will probably get you pulled over aswell as they are noticably purple, ive got 6k in hella celis ring lights and they are great

i want to fit them on my mk4 style headlights. should be ok right?

xyber did you fit a kit for your fogs aswel? and what did you do about your sidelights? as the standard ones would be yellow compared to your HID's.

Ive got them in hella angel eyes so the side lights are white halos, the main beam is hid and full beam is osram white/blue bulbs

Ive only got them in the main beams

If you got white LED sidelight and fog bulbs and xenon white/blue bulbs for full beam that will balance it all out and get rid of the yellow

i have 8k kit. no problems with fuzz. just had em dipped with head lamp leveler.

im going to order the HID kit this week. got a question. currently iv got the golf mk4 style headlights with the standard bulbs that they come with. Should i upgrade to better quality bulbs before i fit the kit? if so which bulbs?
