Silverback 0 Posted March 14, 2008 Report Share Posted March 14, 2008 Got a mk3 vr6 turbo, and looking to get lsd fitted soon. Anyone know the main differences between quaife lsd and peloquin lsd? I know quaife is automatic torque biasing which is good but want to know which is best and advantages/disvantages etc.. Any advice appreciated Link to post Share on other sites

Silverback 0 Posted March 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2008 I've been quoted 1200 for a quaife with a gearbox rebuild or 1000 for a peloquin box.. All fitted etcAm i right in thinking i'm not really gonna find a better quote? I say this as i had a few quotes that were a bit higher.. Link to post Share on other sites

Phat VR6 3 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 Im not sure on the price but to have the final drive put in the gearbox needs to be striped down and rebuilt..So if you put the LSD and the final drive in at different times you got to pay to have the gearbox rebuilt twise.. Instead of once.. I think the laybor is about £500 for a rebuild?? So you will end up paying that 2 times Link to post Share on other sites

Id be after a O2m box out the 4 motion.. ment to take 600bhp reliable.. but thats somthink id do when im older with more cash..As were on the subject.
