right i cant get the nut off the top mounts.there so solid that the allenkey broke in one top mount so im well stumped.ive tryed mole grips on the leg but still turns.any ideas or help please before i get the grinder out and and cut the hole leg off

I drilled through the nuts to split them as mine were solid' date=' this will wreck your existing shocks but if your binin em does it matter.

Be careful that you don't damage anything else

good idea i will get some new drill bits and charge my drill up tonight.i thought i needed the nut thats on the car but the new coilovers have a nut on there

Decent coilovers come with 2 nuts, I assumed all did. My Konis came with both nuts ;-) apply a little bit of common sense

If your unsure get some nuts and leave it till next weeked

In fact i can't believe any suppliers would supply equipment without the relevant fasteners

A nut of that importance surely shouldn't be reused

Looking at the pics in one of your other posts it looks as tho you have all you nuts in the right places

yep the kit came with all nuts one on each front and one on each rear.ive not got a problem doing the rears as there a piece pi**.well 2 batterys for my cordless are charged so its off too b&q in the morning for some drill bits cheers for your help
