tell me that im stupid I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BLEED MY BRAKES BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN DO I HAVE TO RELEASE OR REMOVE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

Start from your N/S/R, Then your O/S/R, then N/S/F and finish off with the O/S/F.

Theres a little bleed nipple on the back of the callipers which is to be undone using a spanner think its 9mm on VR, You want to add some pipe onto the nipple, get somone in your drivers seat to work your pedal.

Keep brake fluid toped up

Open the bleed nipple and tell the driver to go down on the brake pedal, Once they have gone down tell them to say down and shout what they have just done "DOWN"

They need to keep there foot down on the brake pedal while you tighten the nipple back up

Once youve tighted it back up you shout "UP" and they go up

once there up they shout "UP" and u open the nipple again and shout "DOWN"

Repeat untill you can see no air bubbles in the pipe youve conected to the nipple and the brakes feel hard

tom the problem is not how to bleed but the fact it will not I dont know if there is a valve you have to release or something to do with the ABS

No mate, as above should work, If the pedal not going hard its probaly your master cylinder that need replacing

Use a pressure bleeder.....so much easier

Oh if you do it the old fashioned way be careful as if you push brake pedal to far then you can bugger seals in master cylinder

Thanks to everyone. We found out what the problem was. Need a new ABS pump - £600!!!

Ah well, the joys of motoring I suppose.
