SiGainey 1
Wanted to let you know about a great mod I did to the car over the xmas break - I installed the dieselgeek nylong shifter bushings. "These upgraded custom bushings replace the spongy black rubber bushing that is currently installed in the end of your stock front/back cable end. This mod was designed to make your A3 GTI/Jetta GLX or TDI and Passat shifter feel like the highly sought after MkIV Sigma shifter!"Installation took 15 mins MAX and only required a 13mm socket (unbolt shifter weight and end of shifter cable, push out old bushing with hands, place nylon bushing in cable end, re-assemble!). Full installation instructions can be found at step 19 onwards on the official site (http://www.dieselgeek.com/early_cable_short_shift_install.htm)The box now shifts into reverse a lot easier and is more precise in shifting between gears and the slight craunching into 3rd when I changed quickly seems to have disappeared too Will organise a group buy on these if anyone else is interested

SiGainey 1
Exact pricing is being confirmed, depending on numbers we can get - they are very light so postage is pretty cheap considering they are coming over the pond Think they are about 25 quid, well worth it
