skunk69 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 My gear stick has become detached from the selector rod. I have a B&M quickshift on there. I am looking to put it back to a standard shift but i need to know if it needs to be from a vr6 of the same year or whether it can be from any golf of the same time?? I only ask becuase my partners cabrio has a ball jointed selector unlike the vr6! Link to post Share on other sites

skunk69 0 Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 done a genius repair. where the bit goes through the loop at the bottom of the gearstick there was only a split pin holdong it on, so i took a washer that fit perfectly and was bigger than the loop so it wouldnt fall out again, and put the split pin back in and fingers crossed no problems yet!
