Does a complete system check diagnosing every fault with the car.Mine showed an intermitant fault with the carbon filter.Any ideas on what this does and where it is? Link to post Share on other sites
binliner 0 Posted October 24, 2003 Report Share Posted October 24, 2003 yeah the carbon filter is a cylinrical shaped thing with 2 hoses on the top, you should be able to see the top of it under the front of your airbox... it filters out most of the bad stuff from the fuel line and recirculates the rest... its only actually neccesary for US emission laws Ive taken mine out to make room for a cold air duct!
