At the moment i have a vibration when the car revs hits 1400rpm - 1700rpm. Alot of people have suggested its arcing.. I have replaced the plugs as a start, Any recommendations for leads??? i have seen some split-fire ones going for £100 and they sound great but im unsure.. Also when i switch off the car the coil pack buzzes for a good 5mins before it stops. is this a sign of a broken coil pack or does it do this as std? Mountings seem ok, car is a little jerky on / off the throttle but i cant really move the engine around much by hand. kilokilla 0 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Share Posted November 10, 2007 the buzzing you are hearing is more than likely your auxillery water pump mate which sits directly next to coilpack virtually touching it and its meant to keep running for a while after you turn engine off.cheers carl.
