Guest nugz Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 Hiya,Just had my spark plugs and leads changed and since then, whenever i start the engine, the speedo and rev counter stop working and the multi function display turns out.the engine warning light flickers and there's a ticking noise coming from i don't know where.Anyone have any idea what the problem is here please?Thanks so much in advance for any help.Nugz Link to post Share on other sites

amazak 3 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 Yeah, the vr6 uses specific plugs....check to see if you have fitted the right plugs then take it from there. Maybe put the old ones back on to see if it makes a difference. Does the engine battle to start up? Any misfire ??Good luck... Link to post Share on other sites
kilokilla 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 if the gap on 1 of the plugs as closed up it can cause the plug to short out the system and cause all kinds of electrical probs check you havnt dropped a plug in to hole and accidently closed the gap.
