NEILX5 0
Hey guys, just a quickie that i thought i would never come across. Is this a common problem?I have a standard mk3 Golf Vr6 with an uprated Milltek exhaust, and now that im lowering on coilovers it seems to be sandwiching itself between the underneath of the car and the axle. The car is low, but would like to go more, but as its knocking already will it go from bad to worse?Cheers. kalv 0
My scorpion seemed to catch the rear axel.. local garage man just wedged in a rubber grommet and zip tied it...
mannie 0
local garage man just wedged in a rubber grommet and zip tied it... Another way of burning rubber.LolYou can twist/jiggle the centre box to give a little clearance .(undo the clamps first)
ben_notts 0
i had it with my jetex box - it just needed a bit of a re-jig after it was dropped. the grommet thing does work as i did that for a bit on my old golf but like 2pints said they do burn off so you do need to swap them!
