mannie 0
Are you sure it's the aircon and not the cooling fans that are running because aircon only works with the ignition on,have you replace the thormoatate back the right way round ?
g60bron 0
The air con will no longer turn off with ignition and the display shows the fault display when ignition is turned on... but the cooling fans are coming on much more often than they should be.... like 2 hrs after ive parked up and locked the car. and you can hear air con compressor clicking like its trying to turn on and off... i've taken to garage that did the thermo... def right way round i saw them do it.... they said to go to dealers now but i can see it costing me my arms and kidneys
manzi 0
my climatronic always switches on with random settings when i turn the ignition. it has once gone funny, displaying alot of crap but soon sorted itself out when it loaded properly after giving it some time.unsure about the switching off part but as for the rest, random settings on ignition and it crashing once in a while, is normal to my vento. Focker-out 0
Are you sure that the sensor in the stat housing hasnt been damaged and is plugged in?? It should be located in the right of the 3 positions, as this sensor is waht controls the 3rd speed fan on air con equipped cars,
