Need a new battery - is there a a particular type I need?

Hi

I need to get a new battery for my car ...I need one that is heavy duty and a very good one. I'm going to try Halfords. Is there a particular type I need to get? How much am I looking at to buy one?

I've only had it sitting doing nothing for two to three weeks and it has gone flat in just that space of time. I haven't been able to drive the car much as it has a smashed rear driver wheel arch (long story which I won't go into). Going to need to get it to a garage next week to get it hopefully repaired next week. However the car just won't turn over...very occasionally it will. Basically has no charge and I know the battery has been on its way out for the last few months.

just ask at halford for the biggest startin amp battery they have for ur car and year that should see u fine mate

you could also try one of their new calcium batteries, it has a C suffix to the halfords part reference number, supposed to be pretty good batteries
