dwa1974 0
I have a vr6 with audi a3 1.8t wheels on it. The offset is ET42 stamped on the back of the wheels. I like the look of the wheels on the car but the tyre size is niggling me - a lot! The last guy had 205/50/16 tyres on and they are too big, i know that much. What tyre size SHOULD i have on those wheels, i thought it might have to be 215/40/16 but then i read that on 16's you use 195/40/16.As i am a little confused could someone please put me straight on this!Ta
binliner 0
The only bit of information you havent mentioned is the most important part... the width!205/50/16 is definitely too big for a mk3 anyway as the standard 15s have 205/50/15. Guessing that they'll be about 7" wide 195/40/16 should be fine
