purple highline monster 0
had to but didnt want to! Sold the mk1 when i got the Rallye about 5 years ago and sold Rallye when i got he VR about 2 years ago, just didnt have the room for them, wis i did!!! and i have now! i might look to get a G60 Edition one in the future if i can find a decent standard-ish one it has to be the "aubergine" colour with BBS splits and blue Recaro`s though
mike 6
I agree with you on the Recaro thing mate' date=' its the same as the Corrado Storm they never came with them Either and personally i think that was a wrong move by VWs marketing dept.I happen to like the highline alot, mulberry ones especially, but the thing that i despise about them is the purple seats, black would have been so much nicer[/quote']i dont really like the purple leather either, i had a spare set of black full leather in my garage when i baught my car and wish id swapped it over and sold the purple leather now, but black is prob easier to sell...sold within in a week of taking it out. purple highline monster 0
I dont mind the Blackberry leather in mine to be honest, but If i have the right amount of money when the time comes i will have a full retrim done on a set of recaros front and rear in a nice black hide, failing that i will get a set of front recaros and have them colour matched by MJ interiors or simmilar and do it that way, i think the Recaros in Blackberry leather would look proper smart and transform the cabin to what it should be! but then again some Recaro Speeds and a replacement black leather highline rear bench could be a better option? i could keep the standard interior aswell then, these seats are awesome! £380 each + a subframe for a VR though worth it though, lets see what the overtime fairy brings this year
matth76 1
While we're on the subject of highlines... I know the very early highlines had the obd1 ecu however did they ever have the plastic wheel arches too (like all early vr's up to 1995)?
