lee060 3
Loom , ECU , drive shafts , clocks clocks possibly . pedal box if u need fluid clutch ., cable gear set up , better off buying one unless your gonna do it your self and have most of the bits already sourced
tubby 0
Oh well that answers that question then going to have to buy one.
antera309 3
Same applies as for installing a VR6 into a mk3 GTi - unless you have already spent a fortune on non-removable body mods and a respray, the easiest and cheapest option is to sell your current car and buy a VR6.On the Corrado 16v, a 1.8T swap is worth looking into though. coyotebodie 0
Hi, i am new here and want some advice. I got my hands on a rolled 1998 VW GTI VR6, The engine and trany is great condition with low miles. I love the corrado. I have well equiped garge and some mechanicle skills, is it going to be a hard swap, and what has to be changed for the swap.
Focker-out 0
Its a reliatively straight forward swap, the fluid clutch can be over looked as all corrados had them, as can drive shafts, basically, engine, gearbox, loom, clocks, bonnet may be required due to the vr sitting slightly higher, and the front crossmember i believe is vr6 specific byt i may be wrong
