Organising Local meets.

Recommended Posts

If you want to plan and organise your own local monthly meet in your area you are very welcome to,

Just check in the appropriate Events Area that one is not already running.

Here are a few points to consider when planning your meet...

1. Location

2. Day and Time

3. You could use the VR6oc Member finder to find members in your area http://www.vr6oc.com/userlocate.php

4. Post up a thread asking who's Interested

5. Post up details of how to get to the meet location

It's a great way to meet other members to discuss all things VR related, members who have VAG COM normally bring it along and are happy to help diognose. It's also good to make friends so that you know some faces when attending shows and events..

Hi there...If anyone is interested, I attend a club meet on the first Tuesday of every month at The Running Horse, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2UJ.

I have been attanding this meet for over 20 years, it was originally our Club GTi meeting place! The numbers have dwindled over the years however, we do get a dozen or so regulars who are all in the VW scene, some are VW Master Tech engineers with many years experience and run R32's, VR6's and a host of other VW's (the odd BMW might appear!) LOL. It is a good night, a good menu of varied food at reasonable prices (for those of you wishing to eat of course!). You would all be welcome...
