jims13 6
what was the rough cost for say petrol / camping , 4 say a 4 day trip..im currenlty selling aload of stuff on gay bay, and im looking at around 300-350 quid when done, which is roughly 400-450 euros..so , will this cover most of my petrol etc..????im basically trying to go and have fun for free!!! ferry tickets and ADAC recovery are already paid for , so i see petrol, ring tickets, food and camping as the only expenses left. thegoth 5
I think your budget will be fine.Camping: 11E a night. We paid 33E for two nights last Spetember, but I think we actually paid for a night more then we needed. Unless Saturday nights are more expensive. Anyone speak German?'Ring: 19E singles, reductions on multilap tickets; which can be shared or sold onto 'Ring whores ;-) so say 15E a lap + 4l of petrol! Last Easter, IIRC, people only did 4 laps. Food: From memory, 15-20E for a resturant meal with beers. Lunchtime snack 5-10E or there are two Lidls locally which should be open on Saturday.Extra Beer: Who long is a piece of string :-) Cheapest from LidlPetrol: 3 tanks should easily cover getting there and back. It's only 270-280miles from Bolougne.TGP.s. I was sat in a traffic jam last night with a big grin on my face imagining I was queueing at the 'Ring.

Seademon 0
If I went alone it would have cost me £350-£400 but I split the cost with my 2 passengers, that price includes the ferry aswell.

Seademon 0
Your sorted then really - I was thinking that I kept filling my tank up after every lap I did remember I try and keep as little fuel in as I need, roughly 1/4 tank a lap.Theres a MASSIVE group of people going from passionford.com - its good to mix it up with some the Fords round the ring, 1 bloke hit a deer last year in his cossie which was quite amusing!
