ebmurray 0
Does anyone know whether a 97 Highline would have come wired for a cd changer in the boot?
Pittuf 0
Mine didn't, had to run the wire myself.Although I think the connector was at the front, just not running to the rear. Can't really remember tbh.But if you are using anything other than a sony one you'd have to run a wire anyway.

ebmurray 0
Was thinking about buying the vw gamma radio and changer, just wondered how much work maybe involved!I think both radio and changer started after 98. Think the radio was blaupunkt. Is the changer Sony?

ebmurray 0
No I haven't mate, I've got a Pioneer. Wanted to go VW standard, but assumed orignial head didn't have a changer. That's why I thought i'd go for the mark VI version. What's the Sony head like?
binliner 0
Its ok but theres no outputs for an amp... If you're getting a new head unit Id just go for an mp3 one... you can fit about 10 albums on a disc so you dont really need a changer
