[moved] [moved] Replacing Rear window motors

Recommended Posts

Both my back windows wont work so i gather i need new motors. I have two doors in my garage with motors in them and started today to strip the donor door down, which is a complete pain.

Does any one have a guide on how to do them properly, its handy ripping the donor door to shreds but id rather avoid doing that to mine, lol!!

Thanks guys!!!

hey peter, checked the wires today and the drivers side was snapped so i joined it back together, tried the window, and still the same.

The drivers side rear window, when i press the button to put it down, makes a clicking noise.

The passenger rear does nothing at all, no clicking etc.

What do you suggest??

thanks alot.

ok the side thats clicking sounds like the motor could be seized the other size ? best thing to do pop doen to halfors or similar a get a tester make sure your getting power to the size thats doing nothing or take the door cards off and unplug the motors a give them a direct feed then if nothig happen the motor must be nackerd and if the other side is seized you will be best to replace it.
