Roan 0
...as the stock ones are now corroding, can anyone point me in the direction of suitable replacements. And, is there a difference between brake lines and brake hoses?
thegoth 5
Brake lines are rigid metal pipes. Brake hoses are the flexible ones which join the brake calipers to the brake lines; allowing the steering and suspension to work.Brake line comes in straight lengths, which are cut to length and then bent to fit the desired application. You maybe able to get preformed lines from VW.
richievr 1
You maybe able to get preformed lines from VW. :-( :-( unfortunately not.... we only sell lengths of it that need to be shaped... a local motor factor may be able to help..??
kalv 0
Are they really badly corroded? On my last service, mechanic said the same thing - I showed my dad, he cleaned them with a metal brush and copper greased them. I wasn't losing any brake feeling?
