alivr6 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Report Share Posted July 4, 2004 is this happening to me or is it just a vr thing.my fuel pump is making a continuous buzzing sound, like when they do once you start the ignition. is it not meant to stop after a couple of seconds once you turn the ignition. Beats me coz i aint to sure, would appreciate if the fellow vr members could highlight this for me. Link to post Share on other sites
mightyvr6 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Report Share Posted July 4, 2004 the noise is the pump priming when the ignition is switched on. If it continues to whine you could have a blocked fuel filter, putting strain on the pump or the pump itself might be on the way out although they do get noisier with age.
