black dub 3
hi there i have a mk3 highline and am looking at fitting some keskin kt5's in a 17" x 7.5" but 1 company have told me that a ET37 will catch on the caliper. ie: the back face of the wheel will scrape the caliper. does anyone know if they are right? any help would be great as most of the companies i speak to dont seem to have a clue. c4mbl 1
I think the ET37 would catch mate but would it not be easily sorted by buying a set of spacers, nothing drastic, just enough to clear??
crish72 0
It's not too much of a problem if they do. Either space them as c4mbl says or grind a small chamfer on the pads as i have.Either way it's an easy fix.Chris
purple highline monster 0
Grinding pads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its easier to put a 5 or 6mm spacer on surely?
black dub 3
iv just tried a demo kt5 17" x 7.5 x ET37 and i will need at least a 10mm spacer, which sits the outer lip of the wheel level with my arch. This will make the offset of the wheel ET 30 roughly. Will this kill my arches, if I get em rolled? Is anyone running an 17" ET30 rim? If so, any problems?
