lee060 3 Posted January 15, 2007 Report Share Posted January 15, 2007 i know this is a very long shot :S and im very likely to be wrong but give your cam sensor a clean , its free and it tends to cause flat'ness when clarted up as for the code , im interested to find out myself like . come across it before and i cant remember what it was cuased by . matth76 1 Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 I would advise taking it to Stealth if you are in Staffordshire. For £50 you can have a full diagnostic rolling road session. Does sound as though you need to check your timing and fuelling is ok. Stealth are highly recommended on here and definitely one of the best in the UK for vr6 tuning and servicing. Vince who owns it used to do engineering with VW Cup racers so is extremely experienced. Link to post Share on other sites

mk3anni 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 Knock sensor alters the timing of the car to reduce/eliminate Knock or Detonation.If the module is malfunctioning it will, I assume, be running on a safe setup which is why the car feels flat. Link to post Share on other sites
