djemeryvr6 0
Was on a country road near where i live about a week ago and pulled up behind a tractor and a brand new Golf Gt as soon as we got round the bend he pulled out to overtake and of course naturally i followed we both went for it i had my brother, the girlfriend and had just put a full tank of Opti in and for what i could see he was on his own. We were on a nice long straight so it gave a good test for both cars and i tell you he was going no where, i was about a cars length offhim and the gap just got smaller and smaller until i was right up his ass i pulled out to overtake but thought better having the girlfriend in the car and only being on country b road. He gave me a good run but i have to say that they just don't have the grunt of the VR6 if it had been on the motorway i would of cruised past him, im sure it was the petrol model also as there was no smoke at all coming form the exhaust.Bet he was well gutted :-p
jezmoz 0
it's always good scalping new cars The look on their face when they see a 'golf mk3' go past them. A wolf in sheep's clothing indeed.

mk3anni 0
Compound charging is the way forward, you can't argue with a reliable 170bhp, AND being a 1.4 it comes under the cheap tax bracket.Cant see it being too long before the tuners start pushing the power up well over 200bhp.
