spindat45 0
I had some TSW rims re-furbed through a tyre shop for my old MK3. I wanted to know what colour they used and was told "a BMW silver". A bit vague but I thought the colour was perfect. Not too dark or light. It seemed as if they used the paint to build the rims up. Prior to haveing them done they were in a real mess. When I got them back I was amazed. They were flawless but the slightest touch from a kerb and the result was far worse than you would get with a new allow wheel.Kevin[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1167588351_3494_FT151372_image009.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1167588351_3494_FT151372_my_mk_3_side.jpg][/lightbox]

jims13 6
no doing all 4 wheels, but i have the gear to do it all, just dont fancyy paying someone else, as id like to have a go myself, and keep the cost down as i need 4 tyres as well. im getting closer to ordering a new set if the cost goes up much more. i just want/prefer the o.e look. binliner 0
I did mine with halfords spray cans and shit loads of lacquer... I used VW reflex silver but that was a bit dark. That nissan silver is a nice bright shade though... total cost was about £20.Better bet will be powdercoating them... theres a place in rowhedge that did a set of solitudes for me for £90 (including shot blasting them)
