rosscovwvr6 0 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Share Posted November 16, 2006 hello i am new here ,and to the vr6, and it looks a good site.anyway to the problem ,i have a 1993 vr6 and it seems too slow. It accelerates ok and evenly but there seems to be no performance, no head snapping back type thing.I had the car on a scanner and it come back with 3 codes they are00525 oxygen sensor-g39 no signal occurs intermittantly00561 mixture adjustment adaptation limit (add) exceeded occurs intermittantly00513 engine speed sensor-g28 no signalso my question is would any of these make my car run poorly and what do they mean?thanks Link to post Share on other sites

rosscovwvr6 0 Posted November 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 had a play today took out speed sensor and gave it a clean it was no different then i unplugged it and the car would not start so to me this shows that it is working?also noticed car will hit a limiter at 5000rpm is this related?and where is the hall sensor? Had exactly the same problem with mine, a new sensor restored it to full health! not cheap though ~ £45. One owner saw a 25Bhp loss with a faulty cam sensor on a corrado VR. Faulty crank sensor will in most case's not allow the engine to start. Cant see how the problems you describe point to the crank sensor. Link to post Share on other sites
