vr6turbo 27 Posted October 1, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 got the after run coolant pump of and found that it rattles.after stripping it down i discovered 2 components had unsoldered themselves, due to heatok i thought i will try my spare on my other vr, that was the same but with only one component unsolderedhas any one else had this problem?any ideas where to get one or two cheap Link to post Share on other sites

vr6turbo 27 Posted October 3, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2006 thanks i tracked the multi problem downthe fan controller was shot,and a knackered temp sensor in the rad, the car gets to 95 on tick over then the fan cuts in , the after run coolant pump is now working fine as well.the bently manual says that if i bridge pin 1 and 3 on the yellow temp sensor connector then the 3rd speed fan and the after run coolant pump should cut in, it doesnt? *-) Link to post Share on other sites
