craggsy 91
I had the web page for the fitting of a schrick on my computer but lost it all when I upgraded, so can anyone point me in the right direction. mk3anni 0
Well there not the same!!!!the looms have different colors. I found this out when i fitted my schrick, I had the ODB1 diagram and when i hooked it up the car ran like a sack of shit. Ended up looking at another ODB2 that had a schrick to get the wiring colors.
antera309 3
If anyone knows what the OBD2 wire colours are, please let me know and I will make sure they are included in the guide. The three wires used by the control box are the +12v feed, the earth wire and the tacho signal wire.

antera309 3
Errrr guys be aware' date=' the wiring colors are different between ODB1 and ODB2[/quote']Good spot on the OBD2 wire colours, mk3anni. I have checked the Bentley wiring diagrams and you are absolutely correct. It is only the 1.5mm +12V feed wire (to ECU pin 23) that is a different colour on OBD1/2. It is red/blue on OBD1, black/yellow on OBD2.The earth wire (to ECU pin 1) is 2.5mm brown on all modelsThe tacho wire (to ECU pin 22) is 0.5mm green/black on all models.I have amended the Schrick fitting guide accordingly. If in any doubt at all, just go by the pin numbers above. These are the same on OBD1, OBD2, Syncros, Passats, Sharans, everything.
