bigpol 0
im putting a vr into a 91' mk2 in the next week or 2, the mk2 has a mk3 gti 8v fuse board by the looks of it(due to a 2E 2.0l conversion in the past) is this the same as a 93 vr6 board? what about the harnesses for the lights and dash components do these just plug and play? i want to fit the mk3 goof clock pod but i dont know how neat and tidy the drivers eye view is going to be is there any way of fitting say a G60 clock pod and butchering the wiring to suit? maybe a corrado dash conversion to accomodate the rado clock pod which looks a damn sight better than both of the above ideas! any ideas or thoughts will be greatly appriciated. VR6Will 0
i used mk3 vr6 clocks in mine, you can use mk2 clocks and put 2 1k resistors in between the coilpack and the rev counter to get it to read correct.

speedo 0
I also have used mk3 clocks in mine. plus i`m running comlete mk3 front lighting and power loom coupled to mk2 headlight connector. You have to shave a fraction of the top of the dashboard so as to raise the clock up into alignment, and move the side brakets slightly to fit the wider clocks.
