AxlFoley 5 Posted March 28, 2015 Report Share Posted March 28, 2015 my VR started making a very bizarre grumbling noise, that sounds like its coming from near the gearbox. when I drive normally, there is no noise, but when I change gear there is a small grumble,I can feel it through the clutch pedal, and again if I put it in neutral, at first I thought it was a loose wheel, but they are all fine, all bearings are also fine. I noticed there is a small amount of play in the gear box drive shaft flanges, could this be a cause? I haven't checked the drive-shafts are bolted up tight, so will do this tomorrow, but they look ok. anyone got any ideas as to what it could be ? Thanks Mark Link to post Share on other sites
