jaydubb13 0
I have a 2003 gti vr6 my car struggles to start sometimes. My husband told me it was just a cold start but I noticed it starts great first thing in the morning when it's freezing outside.however after driving around town once it's hot I get back in my car it struggles to start. Feels like it isn't getting fuel. It turns over and will stall if I don't give it gas. Then just now at a stop light it felt like it was trying to stall out until I gave it gas.what is going on? I know I little about cars but not a whole lot. Fuel pressure regulator? Any advice on what I should check
Big J 283
Sounds to me as tho it's getting too much fuel on warm start ups.The coolant temperature sensor sends information to the ecu for it to analyse what sort of a fuel/air mixture to use dependant on engine temp. Could be that the car is trying to use a cold start procedure (more fuel less air, like a choke in older cars) when it's not needed. Now there's 2 sensors, one blue and one green if I remember correctly, one of which is a common failing point, that I've done in the past on one of my R32s but I can't for the life of me remember which one it is sorry. I'm inclined to say it the blue one. VR6Pete
jaydubb13 0
My car sprays what I'm told is the ac compressor. It's random and when the car is usually still. Now when I drive upon acceleration I hear loud buzzing that gets louder the harder I accelerate usually it's loudest between 2000 &3000 rpm I think it's related to ac compressor.it's loud and embarrassing. U ever heard of this?
