  1. VR6 low mileage 12-14 mpg and car spec states 29 mpg. After the engine has been running for about 10 mins the car has slow acceleration at low revs in each gear and then it works better at higher revs. I have been told by another VR6 oc member that it could be O2 sensor, vacuum leaks, spark plugs or wires? It feels and sounds like the petrol mix is too rich at low revs so how can I tell if it's O2 sensor causing the low mpg because there were no error messages when the laptop was plugged in at the garage looking for all faults?
  2. Hello again, You replied to my question in November about my VR6 low mileage. After the engine has been running for about 10 mins the car has slow acceleration at low revs in each gear and then it works as usual at higher revs. I think vacuum leaks, spark plugs or wires would affect the running at all revs? How can I tell if it's O2 sensor causing the low mpg because there were no error messages when the laptop was plugged in looking for all faults?
  3. Thanks for your help. I live in Hertford and am trying to find somewhere that can do this because I don't have enough experience.
  4. Sometimes when starting the Corrado it runs few a few seconds and then stops and needs to be restarted 4-5 times before the engine runs. I've been told that the ECU needs to be removed and the immobiliser files deleted to stop this happening. Is this the best way to get the engine started each time?
  5. Don't know if this has been asked before but I have a 1995 Corrado VR6 and the car spec it says 29 mpg but it's currently doing 12-14 mpg. How do I get better mpg?
