  2. Do you need it posted. I'm located in Banbury ?
  3. I'll be honest I don't no . Hopefully someone can help who has swapped throttle bodies
  4. Cheers mate . At the very least the engine will be fully rebuilt with bearings and seals . Just currently sorting all the parts to build it back up. I'll have a word with vince at stealth and see what he reckons on a turbo for low boost . He will have to map it at the end anyway
  5. Yes I see where your coming from . Need to weigh up my options . [emoji106]
  6. I'm a fabricator and have all pipework , exhaust system , charge cooler sorted . Don't have a budget so to speak just don't want to spend thousands .
  7. I have searched various forums for my answers but like anything on the internet Im met with very different answers. I'm planning on building a low cost reliable turbo 2.8 vr6 . I want to no what hp limit items such as Sachs clutch, injectors , stock compression , rod and head bolts can take . I want a reliable engine BUT I don't want to break the bank . The project it is for many of you will cringe . It's a Caddy van that's on air and on the floor so I'm not off to the ring any time soon . Cheers
  8. 2.8 12v obd2 inlet Converted to the 2.9 Euro clone. All unnecessary webs removed . Inlet has been worked for best flow Make me an offer
  9. This is what I'm not sure on. Found a thread online somewhere with somebody using them saying they ran amazing with the best idle out of all injectors he used ??
  10. Just wondered if anybody has run rx8 injectors in there turbo vr6 . There rated at 540cc@3 bar with 13.8 ohms Cheers
  11. Sounds good to me. Got any links ?
  12. Nice ! Read lots of reviews of people giving them lots of abuse on big power drift cars and lasting 10k miles and counting
  13. Anybody have any experience of eBay Chinese turbos . Read some mixed reviews on the web . Some nice copy's for the gt35
  14. Going to weld the head up . Vapour blast it then skim it. Don't want to skim loads of as I was going to fit a mk4 head gasket to up it to 10.5 comp ratio
  15. If you mean skim it to remove the corrosion it would need 2 to 3 mill off of it [emoji107]
  16. Started to strip the engine down ready to rebuild . Took the head off and found lots off corrosion caused by coolant . I was taking the head off to give it a skim before putting a new head gasket on. Any opinions if this head is ready for the skip or will it still live
  17. 2.8 obd2 inlet manifold Modded to the same spec as the 2.9 from Europe . Open to offers
  18. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a hx35 12cm. One will pop up soon I'm sure.
  19. I do plan to up the boost one day as I plan to 4wd it. I don't want to get a large turbo for the future and have to deal with a very laggy engine . I'll see if I can find a hx35 with maybe a 12cm or 14cm turbine . When I'm after more power I'll then go for something like the hx40
  20. The turbo I have been offered is a h1c 16cm
  21. As far as I aware it's a standard twin scroll 16cm h1c/hx40. Would be ok for low boost for 400bhp ??
  22. Currently planning on a turbo build for my 2.8 12v. Don't want mental power to have to start upgrading internals to much . Found a few holset hx40 16cm turbos . Anybody have any experience with these ? Would the boost come in to late ? Ash
