Your first question is what's happening

Clutch is fine, it switches gears easily. I don't know if enough fuel is getting through because it accelerates slowly.

This morning my GTI started to act funny. When I was accelerating my RPM shot up really fast. The car would go but acceleration was slow. It would happen every time I would switch gears, anybody have this problem before?
