Roughly £50 on eBay.de buddy. It's easy to find in engine bay, has two coolant hoses attached to it. They are prone to leaking/ failing over time.

Yes, it does look like aux water pump plug. Probably has leaked in the past and removed / disconnected. You should see a pump around the area where the big engine plug is. You'll have remove engine plastics to plug it back if it's simply been disconnected.

Possibly for the secondary water pump that looks like it might be missing?!

Thats savage!  yeah the thing is deadly to drive, getting it on the ramp tomorrow. I've got access to a MOT brake tester so will check the front at the same time. its not on the road at the moment so its not too dangerous

I'd get it sorted as fast as you can or this could happen!
And it hurts! This was the result of a badly adjusted load apportion valve!
I think the info you've been given is fairly accurate, time to get it on an mot brake test rollers and then start the process of elimination!

hello I have just brought a 1992 vr6, when I brought the car it had clutch problems which i have now fixed. I took it for a test drive and the back wheels lock up very easily does anyone know what the problem could be? It has been lowered and it doesn't have ABS. I am thinking it could be the brake portioning valve but have been told it could also be a problem with the front calipers.
