I'm at East Yorkshire mate

Hello I have just bought a vr6 engine wiring loom and it has a automatic box on it. I really need some advice with changing it to a manual is it as straight forward as buying a manual box and bolting it on? Is there any playing around with the loom you need to do? Etc etc Any knowledge would be helpful!
