  1. So its all done, actually last weekend it was complete. And to be honest it wasn't such a bad job after all. What made it more pleasant is that most of the time was spent nice and dry inside the car. I found some step by step guides on the internet which showed what nuts and bolts were where and the rest was obvious with some brute force as well. Now the wife and kids have a nice warm and condensation free windscreen ride to school every day. But not for long as the car is now up for sale, moving on to another project,a bit more practical for the school runs.
  2. Hello everyone, was wondering if anyone has a guide or even a link to one on removing the dashboard and centre console on the Mk3 golf VR6, it has air conditioning too. I will probably start doing it tomorrow bit by bit as still need to use the car every day, then on Saturday remove the majority of it. The only complete dash i've ever removed was in my last 205. I'm not sure how much use the Haynes manual will be also.
