i know it was a while back now but how did you get on with those gauges sedge ? im looking at a second hand audi set on ebay - oil temp, oil press and volts complete with senders did you get them fitted how much of a ball ache was it ?!! thanks

just to add, not just audi fitment vw too 17'' monza's from a gti or santa monica's from the mk4 v5 ? anybody know anywhere selling good replica alloys ?!

tyres i'll run are 205/40's standard sort of size for 17's .......... 7.5j is the norm for aftermarket but im wondering if i can find 7j maybe ?!! if i look for audi standard fitment say s3/tt or similar they're normaly 7j right ?

im looking at fitting 17 inch alloys to the vr6, and dropping her by about 30mm without the arches rolled will they catch front or rear ? anyone done this without the rolled arches ?! also she is 1996 so i cant hide any work behind the plastic arch extensions !!

thanks for that vr6pete, so even though its st/st you still wrapped it, how well does the wrapping keep the temps down ?! did you find decent bhp gains ? noise increase at all though im not after more noise just asking ?!

thanks frot the info, your right, ill just save for the better ones not sure if coilovers are even the best for me, maybe just a matched set of non adj. shocks and springs - koni maybe ? and a strut brace front and rear front for sure the v6 nose is wayward !!

no1uktuning (ebay) - selling coilover units at 160 quid for a set of 4, has anyone tried these at all how are they ? quality ? fit ? ride ........ i know the ''you get what you pay for'' line is bible but is it TOO good to be true ?!!

hi there, i am looking at a st/steel manifold from no1uktuning (ebay) but have read on here that the bolt holes can be out, i am an engineer by trade so enlarging/filing the holes slightly is not a problem AND im fully aware of the ''you get what you pay'' line at 160 quid is this TOO good to be true ? any answers/thoughts opinions possible tried and tested news greatly appreciated thanks !!

i cant say specificly for a vr6 BUT, i had long ago a renault clio 16 valver full st/st system and it pop and banged on the overrun because it had a leak somewhere, didnt get a chance to fix it the gearbox let go ..... ''fragile french'' !!
