  1. sorry havent been on in awhile! im not sure what the wheels are suits it well tho nice rubs abit probz drop the profile down a tad! anyway the car has gone to stoke to be worked on so hoping it will be ready by September for the welsh mountain road trip having the engined tuned too to make sure she is running as it should be and better speak soon

Hey thought i should start one of these off, so i got my vr6 back in October 2012 for £450 bargain right? her name is betty dont have a clue why i called it that just for lol what the hell betty it is.. anyway she has done 153k miles was used as a daily runner upto 2010 by a mate of mine been sat outside rotting slowly away so i fort i would snap it up and get her roaring down the road again... when i got it i put it for a MOT straight away and failed on alot of rust.. mostly in the common areas.. apart from that one bold Tyre and exhaust leaking gases and not surported which i knew it wouldn
  3. hey just been out in my vr and noticed how lumpy it was being so pulled over checked all the leads where on correctly they where fine and looked under the oil fill cap and its creamy How much is a new head or a rebuild and wheres the best place to go around shropshire ? Cheers

  5. just want to double check im not overheating, this is my first vr6 its an 97 obd2 highline and after about 2mins of driving not going hard on the gas at all its up to temp in winter time! and then after about 10mins of driving i pulled over lifted up the bonnet to see how it was going as it hasnt been on the road for nearly 3 years and it was very hot but the gauge was happily sat where it should be, is this normal do they just run very toasty ? also i have a tiny miss every now and then is there anyone with vag com in shrewsbury/telford area who could see whats up with it? cheers
