Just off jct26 so not a million miles away.

The cage is going on flee bay as soon as i cut it out the harnesses and seats are gone,all abit over kill for the road i think lol. i guess i could always plastic weld the tow eye hole if i use the bumper.

Reason for the swap is i want something i can do the long road trips and meets in plus it would be easier to do that than try putting the inside back to standard as all the excess metal like seat rails,seat belt points etc etc have been reomved. Like the sleeper idea aswell. The engine looks pretty standard apart from the internals so nothing to shout about just yet. If anyone does know of a clean mk3 i could use in the midlands give me a shout.

Hi all just thought id start my thread of with a couple of pics of my new purchase. Soon to be donating its running gear in to a nice a clean 1.4 or gti when i find one that is! Let me know your thoughts and ideas. Oh and the cage is for sale soon as i remove it lol.

Yeah mines not exactly a R32 turbo though is it lol. Just a standard 1.8t. I guess the rotrex has gone already?

Thats cool,not sure my vr6 will be there as its not a road legal car (Ex race car) im not brave enough to bring my 1.8t mk4 for all the piss taking i might get lol.
