hey guys, ive been bit of a numpty today, lol i bought a exhaust system for my vr, i put it all on then realise the lambda sensor connection is different same lay out, so my question is, can i cut the 4 wires and reconnect them to the other connector, or the other question, Do i HAVE to have a lambda sensor ? Any help is appreciated.

My water overflow tank/expansion tank/water resovoir tank cap failed and blew a load of brown cruddy water all over my engine bay. My solution was to jet wash it (i know myself this is a big no no) Anybody got a better less risky solution?

Hey guys I know the pcd fitment on a standard vr is 5 x 100 et 45. Will only et45 fit? or what other sizes can i play with? I have standard brake set up and only lowered 30mm Any help would be appreciated Kev

Hey guys, not owned my vr6 (mk3) very long. Now its time to tax and mot it. Any1 got a ball park figure for the tax? Itll only be 6 months cos hate the thought of tax and mot on the same month :-(

Cheers guys, yeah just been to gsf and they have the gasket, and sorced a pan from the flee market (ebay) Also picked up some brembro discs from gsf for £60 which aint too bad either

hey guys, Split my oil sump and trying to locate new ones (golf mk3 vr6) can find a sump online but not a gasket. Any one point me in the right direction?

as above, only just noticed i have no indicators :-S have no idea how long for. How ever the hazard lights come on and all lights flash, is it either my stalk gone or could there be a fuse gone? The stalk still gives me full beam so part of the stalk works. Any ideas?

Right here goes again lol I had the car a few months now and if i dont use the car every day the battery goes flat I know its not the battery and from reading the the history its been a constant problem with the car. Now im really set on getting it sorted 1c and 4 all. So and idea's So far ive disconnected the the stereo and alarm. Taken interior bulbs out and its still goin flat... Please please tell me im over looking something stupid

Yeah i ordered 1 yesterday :-) Never heard anything about these 2x2 connectors so just dismiss them :-S Was to fixated on the normal connector :-)

Right, I have a 94 vr6, and looking for the diagnostic port. It isnt in the behind the ashtray nor is it behind the blanking plates above ashtray. It isnt in the fuse box below the steering wheel either. Any more idea's lol?

i know a VW specialist in lincoln dude. They are on the Enterprise industrial estate just off south hykeham. if you head off mcds roundabout and head towards newark after about 300yds there a industrial estate, they are in there. They're shit hot and quite reasonable priced too.
